Mengatasi failure configuring windows updates reverting changes
Kejadianya ketika itu waktu ingin menyalakan laptop, kebetulan ini terjadi pada laptop ASUS X201E series yang menggunakan windows 7 ultimate, ketika dinyalakan nya muncul pemebritahuan kurang lebih seperti ini “Preparing installer download windows please don't turn off your computer” pada layar monitor dengan background biru.
Langkah yang harus dilakukan :
- Matikan Komp/Laptop (harus benar-benar keaadaan tidak nyala/mati posisi jangan standbay atau sleep).
- Tekan Tombol Power untuk menghidupkan Komputer / laptop
- Segera tekan F8 pada Keyboard untuk menampilkan boot menu Windows
- Pilih Safe mode dengan menggunakan tombol keyboard panah bawah lalu tekan Enter
- Proses safe mode berjalan
- Proses ini memakan waktu kurang lebih 35 menit
- Setelah komputer atau laptop di posisi safemode klik start atau tombol windows di keybord lalu di search ketik Services
- Klik services
- Maka akan muncul services, cari Windows Update
- Double Klik, pada Startup type pilih disabled tekan OK
- Kemudian Restart Komp / laptop Maka komputer akan kembali Normal
